FFFFOUND! | How shall I a habit break? - but does it float

One thing is absolutely certain with mediocre, dull, uninspiring people - and that’s that they will reproduce.

If you stare at something long enough, it will start to talk to you.  The story of the entire universe is present in anything. Interrogate an object or a subject and patterns will emerge and things will start to make sense. And what at first seemed incredibly simple, will start to seem incredibly complicated and connected. But the story and the logic of the thing you are analysing is not present in thing you are analysing, it is present in yourself and is simply being revealed through an external focus - like a kind of meditation. The only difference between a scholar and a madman is legitimacy of the object of the fixation. Everything is at once very, very simple and very, very complicated. Shortcomings in human understanding are the product of being halfway between the two. Some people are closer to the truth via complication - intelligent people; while others are closer to the truth via simplicity - foolish people. How wise someone is depends on how close they are to their own personal extreme. ‘Intelligence’ is an inherently paradoxical word. I have no proof for this. But that is the point. I don’t need any proof.

Not really cats are they. Not even close.

The cynical application of psychology and neuroscience in marketing and advertising is as honourable as hypnotising women into having sex with you.

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

You are a robot. You would use that information to one day kill me.

Everyone believes that something is universally true. For the atheist, that something is imperfection.
